As we head into a new year and a new decade, people across the world will be reflecting on the past year and their goals for 2020. At Providence, we have a lot to be grateful for – a fast-growing business, an incredibly talented team and opportunities to work with companies and people who challenge us to bring our A-game!
Throughout its history, Providence has represented the finest businesses and organizations in our community. These clients built the foundation for what has become the premier public relations and public affairs firm in Kern County.
Providence has seen a lot of changes over the years but has always stayed true to its values – trust, excellence, accountability, collaboration, service, innovation and gratitude. It’s these values that have guided Providence in its success.
Over the last year, we can boast a wider variety and a larger number of clients, bigger contracts, expanded offices and a staff that has doubled in size. Providence represents some of the most renowned companies in the Central Valley. We’ve earned these clients in part, by our unique service offerings.
Our team also regularly takes on new challenges that make us better professionals and allow us to contribute more to the communities in Bakersfield, Kern County and the entire Central Valley. We have been introduced to new industries such as roofing, construction, accounting, entertainment, real-estate and agriculture in addition to the industries we have are so familiar with – oil and gas, water, property management, healthcare and retail.
The team at Providence has broadened their horizons at trainings across the world – from San Diego all the way to the Worldcom Conference held in Vienna, Austria!

We are proud to offer such a wide variety of services to our clients and we truly believe that it allows our clients to succeed in ways that wouldn’t be possible otherwise.
