Maya was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, with an emphasis in Digital Media, from California State University, Bakersfield. She joins the Providence team after eight years running a local family business, where she developed a strong skills set in customer service, business management, social media management, and content creation. Passionate about serving the people and businesses of Bakersfield and greater Kern County, Maya is eager to grow in her role at Providence. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to the coast, spending time with family and friends, and growing her vinyl record collection.
